NYCTU Inc. is the New York City chapter of TU (Chap.#447) and operates as an organization exempt from Federal income tax under the umbrella exemption of the national TU organization under Sec. 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Like all chapters of TU, NYCTU does not receive funding for operations from Trout Unlimited. As a result, NYCTU is dependent upon donations from members and others to finance it's activities. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of applicable laws.
